Web Beacons

A Web beacon is a tiny graphic image, typically 1*1 pixel, that is located on our website or in our emails that detects how you use our website and whether you received the email we sent to you.

When the small piece of code for the web beacon points to a site to retrieve the image, at the same time it can pass along information such as the IP address of the computer that retrieved the image, the time the web beacon was viewed and for how long, the type of browser that retrieved the image and previously set cookie values.

We and our third-party business partners use the information automatically generated by cookies and web beacons, to provide you with an optimal website experience.

At this time, the Site does not recognize automated browser signals regarding tracking mechanisms, which may include "do not track" instructions. However, you can change your privacy preferences regarding the use of cookies and similar technologies through your browser at any time.

Managing Cookies

In addition to managing your cookies on our Site, you may use your browser to control how your computer interacts with cookies. You may set your browser to accept all cookies, block certain cookies, require consent before a cookie is placed in your browser, or block all cookies.

We do not recommend blocking or deleting all cookies, since it will have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites.

If you wish to avoid web beacons in your emails, check your settings in your email reader program and disable the functionality that enables remote images to load, and refrain from clicking on links.
